Twin Tier Aviation is an S-Corp established to provide local pilots with an airplane to fly. We also provide flight training for students and offer local scenic rides by one of our two commercial pilots. Club members pay an initiation fee to join the club and then pay a monthly fee to continue membership. The plane is available for members to rent at an hourly rate that essentially pays for fuel with a small adder for maintenance. Members reserve time to use the airplane through an online scheduler.
The airplane is based at Bradford Regional Airport in Pennsylvania
The club owns the airplane. The monthly fee is used to pay hanger fees, insurance, maintenance and repairs. The hourly fee is for fuel. Members are expected to keep the airplane clean and tidy for all.
The club has two certified flight instructors. A special rate introductory flight lesson is available for those considering pursuing a private pilot license.
The club airplane is a 1981 Piper Archer II. It's a four seat 180 HP fixed gear airplane certified for VFR and IFR flight. The Archer series is easy to fly with stable flight characteristics making it an outstanding training, local flight and cross-country flight airplane.

The club members participate in a yearly spring airplane and hanger clean-up. Decisions made by the board on potential upgrades etc. include member participation.

The board establishes yearly fees and rates based on the cost of owning and operating the airplane with respect to current fuel cost as well as insurance rates, hanger fees etc. The hourly rate with the monthly fee factored in yields an overall hourly rate typically lower than a larger scale flight school.
